Message from our PCSO

Dear Residents,

As I am sure you are aware, there has been an increase in car crime recently in this area – thank you to all those that have taken the time to report this to us. There are a number of Officers now working on this series of incidents, and every call is vital.  I appreciate if you have not lost anything, or have no CCTV, it seems like a waste of your time reporting these incidents – but it is important to us.  It builds up a picture of the locations, offences and time frames.   It seems that the majority of incidents have been thefts from insecure vehicles – please remember to lock your doors!  There have also been a few thefts from garages.  Again, these seem to have been from insecurities, so remembering general security is vital.  I have a selection of Crime Prevention leaflets, CCTV posters, number plate tamper proof screws etc – please do not hesitate to contact me if you would like anything.

Continue to stay safe and look out for your neighbours.  If you want to report a crime go to and click on ‘Report’  For any advice or concerns, please email me directly on
