Barnham and Eastergate Parish Council is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive individual to join the Parish Council's small team that serves the community of Barnham and Eastergate.

With specific responsibility for the Clerking of the Planning & Environment Committee of the Council as well as supporting the Clerk in delivering all other areas of responsibility of the Council you will be based at the Parish Office in Barnham Community Hall.  The initial hours will be 12 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed as part of any offer of employment),  The salary will start at £12.98 per hour on an incremental scale.

If you have excellent computer skills, are well organised and have previous administrative experience particularly in relation to meeting arrangements, including agenda setting and minute taking then this might be the role for you.
