The Parish Council has been notified by Southern Water that they have had to take the immediate decision to close the Barnham Road for safety reasons to enable them to undertake a process called de-watering. This process has to be undertaken before they can undertake repairs to the pipe due to the high water table.  Diversion signs have been put in place.
