We are delighted to share that the first three of our six new bus shelters have been installed.

Barnham and Eastergate Parish Council have secured six new bus shelters to be installed in our community along the 500 bus route. This is part of a wider project involving other Parish Councils locally. The bus shelters have been fully funded by West Sussex County Council. Installation of the remaining bus shelters will take place in the coming weeks.

You may have spotted the new shelters on Barnham Road, two near the Medical Centre and one close to the War Memorial roundabout.

Work has already begun on installing the one at Peckham Chase, off of Fontwell Avenue.

The remaining two shelters will be located at the Fontwell roundabout, East and West bound on Fontwell Avenue.
